GHOST TOWN

SPRING SUMMER 22 GHOST TOWN

Spring / Summer 22 collection is a tribute to trades, and their executors; whose work contributed to the creation of our today’s developed society. Trades now forgotten and banished by a new techno-digital world, intangible and made of empty streets.

Japanese Raw Denim, born from a work need, is introduced this season featuring finishes as scars evoking the task of each craftsman. Dirty Mud Denim Wash, Dirty Oxid Denim Wash and Dirty Denim Wash treatments give rise to “The Water Bearer”, “The Copper Miner” and “The Maintenance Worker” styles in the P13.D and P15.D versions.

Inspired by the fabrics of the Industrial era, Boris Bidjan Saberi introduces WORKER I. Designed as an industrial apron and characterized by the presence of practical pockets and openings destined to an everyday use.

Natural Mud Grey, Carbon Grey and Ink shades, obtained using ecological natural-based dyes, add to the iconic colours of Saberi collections. With the aim of reducing the residual and energetic impact that the production of this collection entails, selected pieces have been crafted from old fabrics, over which newly introduced finishes have been applied.

The designer gives prominence back to perforated leather, presented in various categories of garments and shoes, highlighting the new BOOT4 ankle boot. Seam-taped and object-dyed perforated horse and kangaroo leather is featured for the first time on a selection of jackets and coats.
