Autumn/Winter 2021 is a collection, which responds to what’s happening in the world. There are riots for freedom, there are mobs trying to destroy freedom. Identity and individuality are at the foundation of our collections. Hence, introduced for the first time this season, object-dyed seam taping in skin color. It makes garments fit better, feel lighter and look unlike anything else; on pants, shirts and jackets.
Our in-house developed finishes via object-dyeing and new waxed object-dyeing are the backbone of all our pieces with continued focus on raw materials such as leather and wool.
Ecological dyes based on natural ingredients, low water consumption and no chemicals applied to the object-dying process produce surprising light grey and light gum shades after previous seasons’ copper tones.
In true alchemist fashion, the tried-and-true P13 low slung pants who have been developed from designer’s own lower torso and have been part of the Boris Bidjan Saberi canon from the beginning defining the skate meets couture silhouette, are seeing a new finish in dirty dark denim and dirty light used denim, all of them hand treated.
BAMBA footwear line is reviewed through a new sole-mold construction with three different rubber soles in the BAMBA 1.1 completed with the new entry sports boot BAMBA3.1. Some available in washed horse leather.
