THIS IS A TALE OF FASHION BORN FROM FRIENDSHIP. MASSIVE ATTOCK THE AWARD-WINNING ENGLISH TRIP HOP COLLECTIVE, create music that has soundtracked much of Boris Bidjan Saberi’s life. When Saberi met Massive Attack co-founder Robert Del Naja “3D” , he found that the admiration was mutual: the Bristol-based singer loved Saberi’s work too. They began work on a “Digital DNA” for the band, based on Massive Attack’s pioneering support for political, human rights and environmental causes. A deep friendship began to grow, eventually leading Robert to ask Saberi: “Why not design for our tours?” The end result is an 11-piece capsule collection, crafted like a uniform, with the aim of manifesting a shared philosophy on current social, economic and political values. Pieces include a football-styled t-shirt with Massive Attack’s branding and the name of the 11 by Boris Bidjan Saberi brand, as well as a technical zip-up hoodie and a text-printed “Mickey” t-shirt.
