The first fruit of the collaboration is a reinvention of the aviator style as an all-titanium, ultra-lightweight, universal fit frame with easy lens change to adapt to lighting conditions. The traditional aviator shape adopts a flattering circular design, with corners anchored by multi-dimensional crescent shapes. Removable side shields, carved like Gothic trefoil arches, transcend light protection to become psychological shields: medieval armor constructed with modern technology, suggesting insect exoskeletons from a techno-organic future. Interwoven into the shields are nods to Sabieri's symbolic affinity with the number eleven in the form of two thin engraved grooves.
